It is an easy choice to buy Burly Bean Coffee because it doesn't get any fresher and it is great quality! I have tried 3 different roasts so far and I like them all. The price is the same as if I bought from a large company that has a greater carbon footprint per bag but it's local! Not to mention the owners are very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. I live in Brentwood Bay, on the Saanich Peninsula. And I have to drive to the other end of the island to find good coffee. This summer my daughter and I visited Port Hardy for our first time. We enjoyed the people, the nature and she loved The Red Apple and we both loved Burly Bean. Thank you.
We took 2 bundles on our holiday and it was perfect for gifts! We forgot to get one person a gift so this was an easy to-to!

All 3 roasts make a superb cup of coffee, especially when brewed using an aeropress! I am currently sipping on a cup of the Bigfoot roast which is on par with some of the dark roasts from Aroma (Quadra). I am very excited that Port Hardy now has an amazing roaster.
